![]() Nothing more to say, apart from shame on you Paypal, one thing is for sure you will never get the chance to do this again. You don`t even have to google it, just check it out here within the Paypal community. Take my advice people, don`t utilise the services of Paypal! if you choose to remain a customer, do so at your own risk, I wager it is only a matter of time before you suffer the same fate as me and the many other similar cases I found when googling cdkeys/unauthorised Paypal transaction. What has happened is that I have been **bleep** royally by both companies.Ībsolutely atrocious that this can happen so easily. No evidence has been supplied by Paypal or cdkeys to prove any transaction was ever made, or what the item was.where did it even go!ĭoesn't matter how many times I put these questions to cdkeys and Paypal, nothing has been answered. No idea why Paypal believe cdkeys over me, they just seemed to want to give me the "case closed" reply asap. I can categorically state that I have never setup a direct debit with Paypal.surely this is easy to substantiate!!! It turns out that the money taken from my account by cdkeys was through a direct debit set up with Paypal. Just had a conversation with my bank who have stated that unfortunately they cannot pursue any fraudulent claim on my behalf with Paypal, not sure what point there is in my bank having a fraud department. I`m on the brink of giving up any hope of common sense prevailing with my case. Hi beebear77, I hope you managed to get fixed out and got some sort of reasonable resolution.although I doubt very much that`s the case! PayPal, your promises to protect our information and money is a joke. I don't feel like my information is protected nor that they give a damn about their account holders anymore. And at this point, I'm fed up with PayPal. This time, I've gone through the ringer with an IVR system and these full of crap emails. ![]() The last time this happened, I was able to talk to a live representative and get the issue resolved quickly. Paypal denied me saying the transaction was not unauthorized, Ebay says I can't open a dispute for a fraudulant zero balance card because I already opened a dispute with paypal, as ebay told me to do. Even if it was auto billed, common sense says it's not going to charge me 3 times in a row in one day. Unauthorized transaction claims reported more than 60 days after the transaction date of the transaction. Disputes filed more than 180 days after the purchase for item not received and significantly not as described claims. Google Pay had no history of the transactions. Anything bought in person (not over the internet) Send Money transactions to friends or family. But there was no auto billed transaction, no product, no details or anything in the receipt. If you have Google Pay setup, then duh, of course I have the PayPal app setup to easily allow me to make purchase with Google Pay using PayPal as my account info vs a bank or credit card #. All charges had Goo9on them, but no details like any other transaction that's appeared from Google. ![]() Prior to me submitting the claim, I knew immediately it was shady activity on my account because I got an alert for 3 foreign currency charges, for the same exact amount, back to back for the same date. I just submitted a claim for fraudulent charges, and instantly got a reply stating the charges were valid because it was an automatic payment.
